DAY 1

Departure at 8:00 a.m. in front of Gray Line` s office ( address: Sofia, 7 Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov Blvd.).

Departure for Veliko Tarnovo. Veliko Tarnovo is the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, is superbly situated on four hills. The houses are at the foot of the hills, perched one above other, crowning the steep streets with their gables. Guided walking tour of Veliko Tarnovo with a visit to Tsarevets Medieval Fortress located on a picturesque hill in the town centre, Samovodska Charshiya Street market, etc. Lunch. Free time.

 

Drive to the nearby village of Arbanassi – an architectural reserve famous for its well preserved 17th and 18th century churches and the typical Revival architecture of the houses. Guided walking tour of Arbanassi with a visit to  "Church of the Nativity".

 

Duration: approximately 11 hours. The tour ends in front of Gray Line` s office ( address: Sofia, 7 Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov Blvd.)

Walking tour in Veliko Tarnovo with included entrance fee for "Tsarevets Medieval Fortress ";

Please arrive 15 minutes before the activity starts.
The tour is not suitable for disabled people.
Small group tour. Minimum of 2 participants is required to confirm this tour . If this minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled and you will receive an email within 24 hours before departure. In the unlikely event of such a cancellation, your choice of a refund, reschedule or alternative tour will be offered.

Bulgarian citizens traveling to the country need to have a valid identity card.
