Any booking made with www.discoverbalkans.com will be governed by and subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Price, Payment, and voucher issue

 

1. Prices
If for any reason the price quoted is not correct, the team of Bohemia Ltd. will contact you for authorization. Tips/gratuities, baggage or personal insurance, beverages or food not described in the product's description, and all other purchases of a personal nature are not included. Any additional services are confirmed at the quoted prices only when booked in a reasonable period before the departure. All prices for services on the territory of countries of the European Union include VAT.

 

2. Payment
All tours must be pre-paid except otherwise stated. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro. You will be charged in BGN at the conversion rate applicable on the date of your booking.

 

3. Voucher issue
After full payment, you will be able to print your voucher, as proof of purchase, which should be presented to the service provider.
All information regarding the travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking.
All requests for modifications/amendments must be sent by email to Bohemia Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any problem that may happen if you don't receive or read carefully your voucher. In case you have not received your voucher, you must notify Bohemia Ltd. immediately.

Please note: Vouchers obtained from an unauthorized source, stolen, copied illegally or counterfeit will be cancelled without compensation.

 

Confirmation, cancellation, refund, and procedure to cancel a booking

 

4. Tours/additional services should be confirmed by the agency at the latest 1 day before the start of the program for short tours, at the latest 7 days before the start of the program for tours with a duration of more than one day.

 

4.1 Cancellation fee/refund
Except otherwise stated, the tour or package or any product canceled is subjected to a cancellation fee according to the following scale:

 

4.1.1. Short Tours (with a duration of one day or less):
-   Cancellation more than 3 calendar days before the services begin: You will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
-   Cancellation 3 calendar days or less before the services begin: You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
-   Cancellation on the day of the services or after You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

 

4.1.2. Long Tours (with duration more than one day):
-  Cancellation more than 60 calendar days before the services begin: You will be charged 5% cancellation fee.
-  Cancellation between 60 to 31 calendar days before services begin: You will be charged 30% cancellation fee.

-  Cancellation 30 days or less before the service: You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

-  Cancellation the day of the services or after: You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

 

4.1.3. Procedure to cancel a booking:
-   Full cancellation of services previously confirmed by us must be followed by a confirmation of cancellation from us.
Bohemia Ltd. will not be responsible for any cancellation not received and not confirmed back to you and might debit the relative cancellation or no-show charges.

-   Since the cancellation request has been confirmed by the agency according to the cancellation policy above, in case there is a refund, the client is liable to provide the necessary IBAN account details in written form.

-   For online payments made through debit or credit card refunds are being settled by reverse remittance within 7 days term.

 

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

 

5. Bohemia Ltd. assumes no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or inconveniences that may occur either because of a defect or as acts of government or other civil authorities (war, civil disturbances, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond Bohemia Ltd.´s control. Bohemia Ltd. can accept no responsibility for the loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. Bohemia Ltd. reserves the right to vary itineraries in order to improve each tour, to the tour members’ enjoyment and advantage. Bohemia Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operation requirements.

 

6. Passport & Visas
Each customer has to check and make sure he has the appropriate documents for his journey. He has to own and bring a valid passport (with visa if necessary) or a valid ID card. Students, travelling with a discount, should provide a valid student ID card on the day of travel. No refund will be granted in case of lack or loss of ID documents.

 

Necessary documents for children below 18 years of age: if not travelling with both parents, children below 18 years of age must be supplied with notarially certified declaration (original and copies) from the absent parents stating their agreement for the children’s travel (including specific program and period of travel). It is the client's obligation to check all necessary documents for children below 18 years of age in the closest embassy/consulate of his/her country of residence.

 

Please note: Children and students up to 18 years of age should be accompanied by an adult with appropriate procurations.

 

7. Restrictions
Smoking, eating, and drinking on the board of coaches is strictly forbidden. When traveling with the coach, all tourists are required to remain seated with seatbelts put on.

Tourists, who disturb the rest of the travelers in the group with intolerant or bad behavior will be asked to leave the group immediately with no money refund!

Tourists are bound to respect the laws of the country and local customs.

 

8. Luggage
Only one handbag per person is accepted in motor coaches.

 

9. Insurance

Obligatory insurance for the seats in the vehicles in the amount of 10,000 Bulgarian leva included.

Insurance outside the vehicles is not included. Please, discuss it with us.

 

10. In case of incorrect provision of the services, the Client is liable to inform immediately the Agency. The notification should be addressed in written form by e-mail or other technical means. Should you have any reason to complain, kindly note this needs to be done within 30 days of the date of travel. Any complaints must be accompanied by your tour voucher. Legal proceedings are to be inspected by the Bulgarian Court of Arbitration.

 

Any booking made with Bohemia Ltd. will be governed by and subject to the current Terms.
