St. Naum Monastery is located 27 km south of Ohrid, on the lakeshore. It was constructed in the end of the 9th century. The monastery is named after its founder St. Naum, who is a disciple of St. Cyril and St. Methodius. St. Naum Monastery has unique architectural design as it has been rebuilt several times throughout the decades. St. Naum's relics are kept there, which makes the monastery one of the most visited tourist attractions in Macedonia.
