PARLIAMENT

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

The most interesting bulding in Romania - the Parliament building, which was built during the "dark days" - the rule of Chaushesku. Its hight is 84m and below ground it reaches depth up to 92 metres. It has 12 floors and occupies 64 800 sq. metres, which makes it the second biggest administrative building in the world /after the Pentagon/. Today accept the seat of the Parliament, the huge building is used as comference centre. It became somehow a symbol of the romanian capital even tho it doesnt bring too good memories for the romanians.
