Ethnographic complex "Etur" is an open-air museum, located in the Gabrovo district of the same name. The museum is an attractive recreation of the countryside, culture and craftsmanship of the Bulgarian ethnos. All sixteen models of Balkan architecture and various handicrafts are functioning today as well as in the past. The project was launched in the distant 1963 and was officially opened the following year. It was declared a sight of national importance in 1971.
