DAY 1

Departure at 9:00 a.m. in front of Gray Line`s office (address: 7 Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov Blvd., Sofia).

Departure for Plovdiv, which is European Capital of Culture 2019 and second biggest city in Bulgaria. It was inhabited by the Thracians, Romans, Slavs, Bulgarians, Ottomans, whose traces have turned the town into a living museum.

A place of special interest is the old part of the town. We will take a walk on the cobbled streets of the old center to discover the amazing houses and churches from the Bulgarian Revival period. Visit to the Ethnographic Museum. We will also see the Ancient Roman Theater, symbol of Plovdiv, and marvel at other remains from ancient Philippopolis – the largest Roman city in Bulgaria. Free time.

Return to Sofia.

You must print the voucher and bring it with you or display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the boarding point.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts.

The tour is not suitable for disabled people.

All reservations are fully refundable when cancelled up to 24 hours in advance.
